The House of Contrast

FORM - Kouichi Kimura Architects 000The Who: Kouichi Kimura Architects
The What: The House of Contrast
The Where: Japan

Incorporating my favorite colors, black/white/brown, Kouichi Kimura have once again constructed an amazing living environment.

I love the completely black exterior but almost all-white courtyard.  Both minimalist and modern, this house of contrast is as sexy as they come.

Now to find one here in Southern California!

Sears Towers Glass Balcony 003The What: Glass Balcony
The Where: 1,353 feet, on the 103rd floor of the Sears tower, Chicago

F That… and how come its nothing but kids in these shots!  I’m already insecure about my fear of heights, they dont need to rub it in!

Well, as freaky as that looks I could only imagine the peace that comes with this kinda view… Perhaps I’ll suck it up and check it out one day  :)   who’s down?
